really yummy smoothie

I am a BIG FRUIT LOVER.  I'll admit it.  But my two favorite fruits are strawberries and pineapple, which are the main flavor aside from the banana in this smoothie.  I realized I end up making either this smoothie or something like it almost three, maybe four times a week, that's a lot! Keep scrolling for the super easy recipe.

Ok, I lied.  I think fresh, juicy pineapple pieces are the absolute best!!  For a good amount of time I had been looking for the perfect, ripe pieces but it took a whole lot of searching.  After a long time, I found that Safeway had the best pineapple.  Every once in a while I might get a "dud" package with less ripe pieces.  But, I mean, look at this picture!!

Do you see the F R E S H pineapple?  Heck yeah baby!!   🙌

I can't always eat Greek yogurt, because it's either too bitter or too thick (I know some of you can relate, it's a texture thing!).  To let you know this post is not sponsored and is my opinion, but I really like Dannon's Light and Fit Greek yogurt.  Not too thick, not too bitter, and not too sweet!

All of the fruit pictured above is from Safeway.  The blueberries are frozen.

R E C I P E

First, let me say it was so delicious.  Didn't you like my creative name of the post? Lol.

3 pineapple chunks (sometimes 4, whatever you like 😀)

5 strawberries

small handful of frozen blueberries

1/2 banana (or full, I just ate the other half while making it, whoops)

3 ice cubes

1/8 cup cold water

1/2 or whole cup of Dannon light and fit greek yogurt

In one picture the smoothie looks really bright (that was using 1/2 cup of yogurt).  Then I needed to make some more so I used the whole cup, and it faded the pink.

SO YUMMY!  I cannot wait for you guys to try it out!  Let me know your thoughts via commenting or following me on instagram.

adios, meraki & soul

My Pinterest is literally my life goals all summed up from homes to food to style.  I'm not kidding. soul cycle (my first class & beginner tips)

Two words… Soul Cycle .  Yep,  just two.  A week or two ago I took a little leap of faith and signed myself up for a Soul Cycle class.  Let me tell you, I had been really wanting to take a class, but where I lived there aren’t many studios nearby.  With taking a trip to Dallas, where I knew they had a few studios close by so I immediately hopped on the site, signed up, and reserved myself a bike. Studio I went to …Preston Hollow, Dallas Instructor …Kevin Before I went I had all those excited, anxious vibes.  Excited to see what all the hype was about, ready to get started!   I met up with a friend, which made it a whole lot nicer, so a suggestion would be to find a friend who wants to try out a class or who has done it before. Funny story, I actually saw one of my favorite bloggers, Kate of Lonestar Southern in the class before mine. Setting up. I had another Soul instructor that helped set me up, she readjus...
