easy dinner you CAN make

My Pinterest is literally my life goals all summed up from homes to food to style.  I'm not kidding.

I have habit of pinning a ton of things I want to do, and never doing them.  Whoops.  With trying to eat better, more wholesome foods, I had been pinning a lot of recipes I wanted to try.  I got a little inspired with other people cooking so I decided why the heck not?!

Keep scrolling for the recipes!

What did I make?

pizza
w/ sweet potato fries
& a caesar salad

I really wanted to try making cauliflower, but I already used the cauliflower the night before...still going to try in the future, so I'll keep you posted on that!

Since I couldn't make the caulilflower crust, I used store bought premade crusts.

Pizza 1:  I made my original for friends that like the usual,  I used regular pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese.  Easy as that!

Pizza 2: This was my personal favorite, I used some olive oil, mozzarella cheese, pulled chicken in bbq sauce, and spinach!  So good.

Pizza 3: This was a little of both, I used pizza sauce, mozzerala cheese, topped with spinach!

Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Once again, another easy recipe.  Just store bought croutons and Ceaser dressing with cut up lettuce!  Easy, quick, and delicious.

Now, what you've been waiting for. :)

Here is the stuff you really want to make.  I was skeptical because I didn't think that they would taste good, but they were delicious.  Not kidding.  They were just like regular fries and they were 100% healthy!  I didn't even need to add salt.

I used this recipe.   It was so simple.  The only thing I did differently was I put the cut up pieced in a bag, then added cornstarch, then shook it up.  Much easier and it gets on each fry.  I did the same with the olive oil and spices.

While this isn't really on the healthy side of things, I made this sauce.  It was easy and it tasted like a good honey mustard.  Note:  I you didn't know this about me, I love honey mustard.

It was really fun to try out something new.  I encourage you guys to revisit your own Pinterest and make something you've always wanted.  For food inspiration follow my Instagram @merakinsoul or my Pinterest!!

soul cycle (my first class & beginner tips)

Two words… Soul Cycle .  Yep,  just two.  A week or two ago I took a little leap of faith and signed myself up for a Soul Cycle class.  Let me tell you, I had been really wanting to take a class, but where I lived there aren’t many studios nearby.  With taking a trip to Dallas, where I knew they had a few studios close by so I immediately hopped on the site, signed up, and reserved myself a bike. Studio I went to …Preston Hollow, Dallas Instructor …Kevin Before I went I had all those excited, anxious vibes.  Excited to see what all the hype was about, ready to get started!   I met up with a friend, which made it a whole lot nicer, so a suggestion would be to find a friend who wants to try out a class or who has done it before. Funny story, I actually saw one of my favorite bloggers, Kate of Lonestar Southern in the class before mine. Setting up. I had another Soul instructor that helped set me up, she readjus...

DALLAS TRIP pt. 1 (restaurants)

As some of you guys already know I took a short trip to Dallas to visit some family.  I had never been to Dallas before, but I can assure you that you want to go!  We flew to Dallas (after a six hour delay), arrived Friday at 4 in the morning, and we left Sunday afternoon.  I have a lot to write about the trip so I am dividing it into three parts (restaurants, places to go, and things to do/itinerary).  Keep looking out for those posts! Announcement: If you missed my post with eight of my favorite fall looks, click here.  It's almost 60 degrees today!  Fall is almost here!  In the post you can find my favorite outfits for transitioning from summer to fall. Where we ate One of the biggest things when I visit a new place like a city or state, is making sure the food is good, I'm sure you can agree with me on that!  Luckily, we had my brother who lives there, almost as a tour guide!  Every food spot we hit was good, so all these recommen...
